The Settings menu is where you set all the core aspects of your application for iOS, Android, and Web.
General settings are where you can set and select all the basic settings of your app. This includes:
App title, description, keywords, and name
Default language
The maximum width of the page
Your contact information, including company name, phone, and various contact emails
Google Analytics ID and site verification identifier
Features including whether your users will have the ability to log in, have a dashboard, use cookies, support right-to-left languages, have multiple languages, and have a dark mode
The social media accounts relating to your app
Enabling social sharing to selected platforms
The Emails section of the settings is where the prebuilt emails are found. These emails include:
Welcome
An acknowledgment that a user has submitted a contact form
That an email address has been verified as part of the sign-up process
An acknowledgment of a request to reset a password
A confirmation when a password has been reset
The emails can be edited with your own text, and images changed as needed.
Editing theme settings is a great way to speed up your workflows. It allows you to set up color pallets, fonts, and sizes that will flow across your entire app—there's no need to change colors and fonts in every individual part!
Theme settings are the second option in the app-wide settings and are broken down into two categories: Colors and Fonts.
Want to change the look of your whole application? Look no further than the color theme settings! There are many theme colors to change, including primary, secondary, and accent. By changing color here, you'll see any parts in your whole app that have that color assigned change to your newly selected color!
Modern applications offer users a preference for light and dark themes to optimize their experience, but it can be incredibly time-consuming for developers to configure each UI component individually. Using Google's material design system, Appeggio allows you to easily configure light and dark color themes and toggle between them to test the outcome.
Toggle between dark and light themes for fast dark theme integration in your app!
Choosing the correct fonts for your application can give it a new feel and carve out your app's identity, so take advantage of this step. When selecting fonts for an app, factors such as readability, legibility, and stylistic compatibility with the design should be considered.
Your main font will be the primary font. You can also choose a secondary font used selectively, say in calls to action. Also, neutral and accent fonts are available, which should be used sparingly for other special elements if desired.
Every font size in the settings has its purpose. For example, an H1 header should stand out the most and only be displayed once on that page. All other header texts don't have a limit to how many times it should be on a page. Headers are used to introduce content sections and provide a hierarchy of information on a page. On the other hand, paragraphs provide more detailed information and context about the content introduced in the headers.
Deploying your application as a WebApp allows people to use it on their web browser. Here, you can change simple settings displayed in the browser, like domain name, description, and keywords, which all help with Search Engine Rankings.
Multiple icons are required to represent your application when used in a browser or deployed to the App Stores. Each has different size requirements because each is for a specific purpose. With Appeggio, you can set each specifically, so your app always looks its best. The deployment process will ask you to confirm that you are happy with your icons, but we always suggest designing these before you consider deploying your app.
We've made this process easy for you, clearly listing the icons and dimensions you need to ensure your app looks like the best software company designed it! As a reference, here is what you should be aiming for.

This is where you can update all the platform-specific information Appeggio needs to deploy your finished applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
When deploying your app to the Apple App Store, there is a range of information about your app that you need to provide to Apple to set up and register your app, like the category you want it published in a simple description and some screenshots to bring it to life.
Similar to IOS settings, when deploying your app to the Google Play Store, you need to provide information similar to that of the Apple IOS store. Make sure you edit the iOS and Android settings before deploying your app. The deployment process will ask you to complete all of these, but we always suggest getting these right before you consider deploying your app.
This is where you can set up your Stripe Payment information if your app accepts payments.
