A Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatar) is a service that allows users to have a single, universally recognized avatar image associated with their email address. Appeggio incorporates the Gravatar part. Easy!
Location in the Parts Library: Base Parts > Data Display > Gravatar
Here's a little more information about Gravatar, if you're unfamiliar:
Once a user sets up a Gravatar, the same avatar will appear on all Gravatar-enabled sites where they use their registered email address.
Users only need to upload and manage their avatar in one place. This eliminates the need to repeatedly upload avatars on different websites.
Gravatars are linked to email addresses. When a user enters their email on a Gravatar-enabled site, the corresponding avatar is fetched and displayed.
Users can update their avatar on Gravatar's website, and the change will reflect across all sites using Gravatar.
There is only one gravatar part in the part library, and its sole function is to show a user avatar.
Select the part where you’d like to add your gravatar, go to the Gravatar part in the Parts Library, and click ‘+ add to page’.
More on Gravatars is coming soon.
Very little formatting is needed for the Gravatar. There is the ability to change the and if needed.
