Links

How to add and format links.

Some parts within your app can be linked to internal pages or external URLs. These parts include buttons, cards, avatars, and list items.

There is also a 'Link' part which houses text, that has the ability to link as well.

How to Add and Style Links

To add a link to either a button, card, avatar, or list item, select the part that will be linked. On the right editor menu, select 'link to', and you'll see the current list of pages within your app that you can link to. If the page you want to link to within your app hasn't been created yet, select 'new page'. You'll then be prompted to complete some details for your new page. You can also link to an external URL.

Linking a Button to a Page

You can also select how your link opens by clicking the 'behavior tab' within the link editor. The link can open in a new page, in self (meaning the same page you're on), in a parent frame, or a full window.

To add a text link, go to the base parts, and find the 'Link' parts. Select your preferred link type and add it to the page. Then edit the link text as needed.

To link the text to another page, go to the parent 'Link' part. You'll then see the property to link to a page. Select where the link should go - whether this be an existing page within the app, a new page, or an external URL.

Adding and Editing a Text Link

To edit the text within a link, select the text part, and replace it with your preferred text. You can also format the text using the Font Editor in the property editing panel on the right for font family, size, and weight.

To remove the underlining from the link, select the link part, and check the 'Hover' checkbox.
