How To Apply and Style Borders

What Parts Can I Apply a Border To?

Most parts can have a border applied. This includes buttons, rows and columns, avatars, icons, cards, images, accordions, and more.

How To Use the Border Property

Select the part you wish to apply a border to. Then open the Border Editor on the right menu. You can apply a border to:

  • the whole part

  • the top

  • the bottom

  • the left

  • the right

  • and different combinations of these

There are three key elements to the border - its style, color, and size.

Border Style, Color, and Size

Border styles include dotted, dashed, solid, double, groove, inset, outset, hidden, and none.

The size of the border relates to its thickness and ranges from 0 to 20.

The color of the border can be chosen with the color picker.

Adding and Styling a Border

Select the part you would like to add the border to.

It's a good idea to start by selecting a size. That way you will see the border around the part. Change the size using the slider.

Then select your preferred style and color.
