Publishing my app
Publishing FAQs
Where is my Appeggio website or app hosted?
At Appeggio, our websites and apps are hosted on a scalable Amazon Web Services cloud instance. If needed, you can choose a dedicated sub-account or deploy to your own AWS account. These options are especially useful for companies that must adhere to data sovereignty or data security regulations.
Do I need to purchase my domain through Appeggio or can I bring my existing domain name and build onto that?
When you sign up for an Appeggio plan that offers the BYO domain option or choose the BYO domain upgrade, you will receive instructions from Appeggio on how to connect your custom domain to your Appeggio website. This includes information on how to request your domain provider to point your custom domain to your Appeggio website. You will receive instructions to guide you through the process. Additionally, every Appeggio application comes with an Appeggio.com domain.
What do I do if I make a mistake or publish something before it's ready?
We've all experienced the frustration of losing work or sending something prematurely. But don't fret, Appeggio is here to help. We save your work automatically after nearly every change, so even if something goes wrong, at most, you'll only lose a few clicks of effort. Plus, we keep a record of all versions of your work when you publish, making it easy to roll back to a previous version if necessary.
Where and how can I publish an app I built using Appeggio?
Using Appeggio, you can effortlessly release your app on three platforms: Web, iOS, and Android. The Web publishing process is immediate; however, it may take a few days for the app stores to approve your app for deployment. Since we have experience in handling this process, we know the most effective way to submit your app with minimal stress, but it may still take some time. Typically, the Apple App Store takes longer than the Android Play Store to approve publishing.
Can I design and preview my app for free?
Absolutely! You can build your app for free using Appeggio. Plus, there's no need to preview your app because you'll see it exactly as it will appear in the editor, as you build it.
Do I have to manage server resources to ensure my app is always performant?
