What can I build with Appeggio?

Appeggio lets you create interactive, multi-user apps for desktop, mobile web browsers, and native apps. It includes all the tools you need to build almost any public app, such as marketplaces, e-stores, social media, booking apps, and internal apps for your business, like customer relationship management or reporting tools.

Is Appeggio really free to use?

Yes, designing and building as many apps and websites as you want is entirely free of charge. However, you must pay when you decide to deploy your apps for others to use. You'll have to sign up for a hosting plan per app to do this. Any modifications you make to your deployed apps afterward are also free if you maintain your plan.

Do I need to install any software?

No, the tool was designed solely for use as a Web App. Open your browser, go to the App, and begin creating.

What if I need help building my app?

Can I build iOS and Android apps on Appeggio?

Is there a limit to the number of apps I can build with Appeggio?

There is no limit when it comes to building apps with Appeggio. Our platform can accommodate your needs, whether you want to create just one app or manage a portfolio of multiple Apps. Rest assured that our platform is designed to scale with your demands.

Can I use Appeggio templates in commercial projects?

Absolutely! You can create, deploy and utilize the Apps you build to your heart's desire! You will be granted a free and transferable license for every template in our library, including free and premium ones. Furthermore, any intellectual property you generate in your app is entirely yours! (but for the avoidance of doubt, we will always retain the ownership of any intellectual property contained in the Appeggio platform). You can create solutions for your current company, or even launch the next unicorn.

Can I edit or add code to my Appeggio app?

Although Appeggio only generates vanilla code that can be easily modified or maintained by any experienced software engineer. Allowing anyone to make changes could potentially introduce bugs or security risks. Therefore, if you come across any limitations, we much prefer you let us know so we can work on adding that capability to the platform for everyone to benefit from.

What is the difference between a Low-Code and a No-Code solution?

Experienced developers usually utilize low-code tools to enhance their productivity. However, such tools can be challenging for non-developers to grasp. On the other hand, nocode solutions, also known as Citizen Developer tools, require minimal or no coding experience, making them easier for non-technical users to understand. Can I integrate my Appeggio app with my existing databases or other platforms?

Any platform or database that has an API can be connected to Appeggio. Stay tuned for more info on our list of planned standard integrations.

Are there any pre-built integrations with things like payment platforms?

Yes, there is a growing list of pre-built integrations with common third-party platforms you might need, like Stripe for payments.

How long does it take to build an app on Appeggio?

The time it takes to create your app will vary based on how much customization you do to an existing template and what features you want to include. Starting from scratch will likely take longer than editing a template. If you don't have experience creating apps, you can have a working prototype within a few hours of beginning. For a complete and polished app, it could take a week or two, but If you have already planned the layout, features, written content, branding, and images, you could have your app ready to deploy even quicker.

Is training provided for using the Appeggio platform?

What happens if my site or app goes down unexpectedly?

When considering your app, there are several factors to keep in mind. How likely is it to experience downtime? Will you receive a notification? What happens to your data if it goes down, and how can you restore it? At Appeggio, all our websites and apps are hosted on the secure Amazon Web Services cloud and maintained by a highly qualified team of support engineers at iToc who are trusted by some of Australia's government agencies and biggest businesses.

Depending on your chosen plan, you will have varying levels of support access, but our overarching goal is to ensure that your apps and websites are available for over 99.9% of the time, that you never lose more than the last 15 minutes of data, and that we are proactive in identifying and resolving any issues before you even notice them.

Can I take my apps to another no-code platform, or take the code for my Appeggio application?

It's important to note that while Appeggio generates code that experienced software engineers can easily modify, any apps created using the platform will require modification before they can be transferred to another no or low-code platform. However, if you ever need to move your application off Appeggio, you can obtain a raw extract of your code for a fee. This fee will equal 60 months of your subscription plan, likely much less than the cost of building the same code from scratch.

Can I take my data to another platform?

As long as you have an active subscription, you can export any user-generated data whenever you want.
