Choices

Adding and styling 'Choices' for forms.

What Are Choices?

A 'Choice' is a container for grouping multiple items, allowing the user to select an item among the choices. In the context of a form, a Choice is typically a group of buttons, where a user can select from a range of options.

Editing Choices

The Choices part has its own editor. It's important to know that the Choices editor will format the Choices part itself, and not necessarily the parts within it. For example, the buttons within a Choice are edited the way you would edit any regular button. The same goes for cards and any other parts housed within a Choices part.

Like many other parts, borders, shadow, rounding, opacity, and colors can be adjusted using the property editor on the right, once the Choices part has been selected. These properties are applied to the border radius of the part rather than the individual parts within it.

Applying Color to Choices

When amending colors in a Choices part, remember that if any of the parts within the Choices are colored, such as a button, the color applied to the Choices part may not be visible because of the color in the child part. Amending the color of the child parts to 'transparent' will allow the color applied to the Choices part to be visible.

Applying A Background Image to Choices

To add an image behind your Choices part, select the Choices part, then go to the property editor in the right panel. Go to 'Image', then choose your preferred image from the Media Gallery or upload a new image. You can then format the image as you see fit, and adjust the opacity of the image within the Decoration Editor as needed.
